Lamborghini Revuelto Is My Future Car, and This Blog Is the Evidence. #2 A2W Car Spotlight
Welcome to the second A2W Car Spotlight, where I admire beautiful machines, make financially irresponsible promises and give my bank account another reason to stop speaking to me.
The first spotlight belonged to the Aston Martin Valhalla. British elegance met complete madness, four exhausts appeared, and I briefly began checking my pockets for several million missing pounds.
For number two, we are travelling to Italy. Meet the Lamborghini Revuelto.
Actually, “meet” sounds far too casual. You do not simply meet a Revuelto. It arrives looking like a spaceship that has become angry with Earth, and suddenly every other car in the area begins questioning its life choices. I will say this clearly today, 18 September 2026:
One day, I will buy a Lamborghini Revuelto.
Yes, I know what it costs. No, my current bank balance does not support this announcement. Please do not interrupt a beautiful dream with unnecessary mathematics.
This blog, this date and all of you reading it can stand as witnesses. When the keys eventually reach my hand, I will return here either looking like a visionary or somebody who spent many years making a very expensive promise on the internet.

Both possibilities sound exciting. The Revuelto is not the quiet type. It does not want to arrive unnoticed, sit politely outside a restaurant or pretend it is merely practical transportation.
It wants people to stop walking. The sharp front, Y-shaped lights, enormous air intakes and exposed engine make it look dramatic from every direction. Even the doors open upwards because apparently entering a Lamborghini normally would damage the atmosphere.
And honestly, Lamborghini is correct. If I am finally climbing into my dream car, I do not want to open the door like I am entering a family hatchback at Tesco. I want theatre. I want drama. I want nearby strangers to assume I have either become extremely successful or made several questionable financial decisions.
Preferably the first one.
The Revuelto also represents an important change for Lamborghini. It is the company’s first High Performance Electrified Vehicle, combining a naturally aspirated V12 with three electric motors. Together, they produce 1,015 CV. According to the official Lamborghini Revuelto specifications, it can reach 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and continue beyond 350 km/h.

This is A2W Car Spotlight, not an engineering examination. I am far more interested in what those numbers would do to me emotionally. Two-point-five seconds to 100 km/h means I would press the accelerator, attempt to say “Oh my God” and probably complete only the “Oh” before my soul reached the destination ahead of me.
The important part is that Lamborghini has kept the V12.
The Revuelto may be a hybrid, but it has not suddenly become shy, sensible or interested in whispering through life. The electric motors are not there to calm everything down. They have joined the V12 and encouraged it to behave even more irresponsibly.
That is the kind of teamwork I respect. However, my love for the Revuelto is not only about speed. Many modern cars are incredibly fast. Some accelerate so violently that your face begins negotiating with gravity.
Very few feel like an event before the engine has even started. That is what Lamborghini understands.
As a child, a Lamborghini was never simply another expensive car. It was the poster car. The impossible shape. The machine you selected in a racing game before understanding horsepower, aerodynamics or why adults became nervous whenever somebody mentioned insurance.
You did not need technical knowledge to understand it. You looked at it and thought:
I want that.
Growing older introduces responsibilities, bills, sensible decisions and people who use phrases such as “financial planning.” All very important, obviously. But some dreams should survive adulthood.
For me, the Lamborghini is one of them.
I can already imagine choosing the colour, although this decision may require several weeks and a completely unnecessary spreadsheet. Part of me wants something beautifully aggressive, perhaps purple with contrasting details. Another part believes a Lamborghini should arrive in a colour visible from another postcode.
There will be time to decide. Ahem. Lamborghini, if you wish to help with the research process, my email remains open.
I am not pretending that buying a Lamborghini will happen tomorrow. Dreams do not become meaningless simply because they are currently far away. Sometimes writing them down makes them feel a little more real and gives your future self something to work towards.
The Aston Martin Valhalla earned the first A2W Car Spotlight because it combines British beauty with hypercar madness. The Lamborghini Revuelto earns number two because it represents something different.
It is not only a car I admire. It is a dream I intend to collect. Future aKi, I hope you are reading this from the driver’s seat.
And please tell me you chose the purple one.
One Day.
aKi Malik
