ANKIT2WORLD (A2W) TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of ankit2world.com, including its articles, images, graphics, community areas, comments, user accounts, A2W The Grid and any other services made available through the Website.

Ankit2World, also known as A2W, is an independently operated UK-based digital publication, blog and fan community.

References to “A2W”, “Ankit2World”, “we”, “us” or “our” mean the operator of Ankit2World.

References to “you” or “user” mean any person accessing or using the Website.

By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with them, you should stop using the Website.

2. Nature of Ankit2World

A2W is an independent editorial and fan-led publication.

Content may include:

• opinion;
• criticism;
• reviews;
• commentary;
• analysis;
• news discussion;
• race reviews;
• motorsport coverage;
• Formula 1 discussion;
• film and television discussion;
• anime;
• manga;
• comics;
• popular culture;
• editorial graphics and creatives;
• community discussions; and
• other entertainment or cultural subjects.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, A2W is not an official publication of any sport, championship, governing body, racing team, studio, broadcaster, publisher, comic company, manga publisher, streaming service, actor, driver, manufacturer or other third party discussed on the Website.

3. Editorial opinions

A2W content frequently contains personal opinion, commentary, humour, criticism and subjective analysis.

An opinion expressed by A2W represents the author’s editorial view at the relevant time.

A2W does not claim that subjective commentary is objective fact.

Reasonable efforts may be made to distinguish reported facts from opinion and to correct material factual errors that are brought to A2W’s attention.

Nothing on A2W should be interpreted as professional legal, financial, medical, investment or other regulated professional advice.

4. Formula 1 and motorsport content

A2W’s Formula 1 and motorsport coverage is independent fan and editorial content.

A2W is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or officially connected with Formula 1, Formula One Management, Formula One World Championship Limited, the FIA, any Formula 1 team, any Formula 1 driver or any circuit unless an article expressly states a genuine relationship.

Names, logos, marks, photographs, footage, race names and other intellectual property relating to Formula 1, motorsport organisations, teams, drivers, manufacturers and circuits remain the property of their respective owners.

References to such names or marks are used descriptively, editorially or for identification of the subject being discussed.

No such reference should be interpreted as suggesting official status, endorsement or ownership by A2W.

5. Movies, television, anime, manga and comics

A2W may publish reviews, commentary, criticism and discussion concerning:

• films;
• television programmes;
• anime;
• manga;
• comic books;
• characters;
• franchises;
• actors;
• directors;
• writers;
• publishers;
• studios; and
• related entertainment properties.

All underlying third-party copyright, trademarks, characters, artwork, posters, promotional imagery and other protected material remain the property of their respective rights holders.

A2W does not claim ownership over such third-party material merely because it appears within an A2W article or creative.

Such material may be referred to or reproduced only where A2W reasonably considers that there is an appropriate legal basis for doing so.

6. A2W copyright

Unless otherwise indicated, original material created by A2W is protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual-property laws.

This includes original:

• written articles;
• commentary;
• reviews;
• branding;
• page designs;
• graphic layouts;
• race-review templates;
• A2W visual elements;
• logos;
• original illustrations;
• databases;
• compilations; and
• other original creative material.

You may link to A2W articles and quote limited extracts where permitted by law and accompanied by appropriate attribution.

You may not, without permission:

• reproduce complete A2W articles;
• republish substantial portions of articles;
• copy A2W graphics as your own;
• remove A2W branding from original graphics;
• systematically scrape A2W content;
• create a competing archive from A2W content;
• sell A2W content;
• falsely attribute A2W content to another person; or
• use A2W’s brand in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation.

7. Third-party images, footage and other copyright material

A2W does not claim ownership of third-party photographs, screenshots, promotional material, film stills, artwork, comic imagery, manga imagery, motorsport imagery, logos, video clips or other third-party copyright works unless expressly stated.

Copyright remains with the relevant photographer, creator, agency, publisher, studio, broadcaster, team, organisation or other rights holder.

A2W seeks to use third-party material only where there is a reasonable legal basis for its use, which may include:

• permission from the owner;
• an applicable licence;
• material supplied for editorial or promotional use;
• material made available subject to applicable reuse conditions;
• public-domain material;
• Creative Commons or similar licensing where its conditions are met;
• embedded content made available through an authorised platform; or
• an applicable statutory copyright exception under United Kingdom law.

8. UK fair dealing

United Kingdom copyright law does not provide a general unrestricted concept equivalent to the United States doctrine commonly referred to as “fair use”.

UK law contains specific copyright exceptions commonly described as “fair dealing”.

Where appropriate, A2W may rely upon relevant provisions of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, including fair dealing for purposes such as:

• criticism;
• review; and
• quotation.

Any reliance upon a statutory exception is intended to be limited to circumstances in which A2W reasonably considers the use proportionate, relevant to the editorial purpose and no more extensive than reasonably required.

Where legally required and reasonably practicable, sufficient acknowledgement will be provided.

The presence of a credit line does not itself create a copyright licence and A2W does not claim otherwise.

Likewise, the absence of a licence notice does not necessarily determine whether a use is unlawful because copyright exceptions and other lawful bases may apply depending upon the circumstances.

Each use must be considered in its particular editorial and legal context.

9. Photographs and current-events reporting

A2W recognises that UK copyright law treats photographs differently from certain other works in relation to the specific fair-dealing exception for reporting current events.

A2W therefore does not rely upon a general claim that a photograph is automatically lawful merely because it relates to a newsworthy event.

Where third-party photographs are used, A2W seeks to rely upon an appropriate legal basis applicable to the particular use, such as:

• permission or licence;
• authorised promotional/editorial availability;
• criticism or review where the statutory requirements are satisfied;
• quotation where legally applicable and fair; or
• another applicable legal basis or exception.

10. Image credits

A2W aims to provide appropriate source, photographer, agency or rights-holder acknowledgement where required or reasonably available.

A credit is intended to acknowledge the creator or source.

A credit does not mean that A2W claims ownership of the credited material.

A credit also does not by itself amount to an admission concerning whether permission was legally required for the particular use.

A2W will review reasonable requests to amend a credit.

11. A2W editorial creatives

A2W may create original editorial graphics, thumbnails, race-review graphics, collages and other visual material to accompany articles.

An A2W creative may contain a combination of:

• original A2W graphic design;
• typography;
• layouts;
• commentary;
• factual information;
• track representations;
• logos;
• photographs;
• screenshots;
• promotional material; or
• other third-party elements.

A2W claims copyright only over those aspects of a creative that A2W itself owns or is legally entitled to control.

Inclusion of third-party material within an A2W creative does not transfer ownership of that underlying material to A2W.

Third-party rights remain with their respective owners.

A2W editorial creatives are primarily intended to identify, illustrate, criticise, review or discuss the relevant editorial subject and should not be interpreted as official promotional material issued by the relevant rights holder.

12. Copyright and image complaints

A2W takes genuine intellectual-property concerns seriously.

If you are a copyright owner, authorised representative, photographer, agency, publisher, studio, team or other rights holder and believe material appearing on A2W infringes your rights, please contact:

To assist A2W in reviewing the matter, please include where reasonably possible:

1. your name and contact details;
2. identification of the relevant copyrighted work;
3. the exact A2W page or URL concerned;
4. identification of the material complained about;
5. the basis upon which you claim ownership or authority to act;
6. an explanation of the rights you believe are affected; and
7. the action you are requesting.

A2W may request additional information where reasonably necessary to verify a claim.

Upon receiving a credible complaint, A2W may:

• review the material;
• temporarily restrict or remove it while reviewing the claim;
• correct attribution;
• replace an image;
• seek clarification;
• provide an explanation of the basis upon which the material is being used;
• remove the material voluntarily;
• restore material where a claim is unsupported; or
• take another action considered appropriate.

A2W’s willingness to investigate or voluntarily remove material does not constitute an admission of infringement, liability or wrongdoing.

Where a concern can reasonably be resolved through attribution, replacement, licensing or removal, A2W aims to resolve the issue proportionately.

13. Trademarks

Third-party names, logos and trademarks appearing on A2W belong to their respective owners.

Their appearance is generally for editorial identification, commentary, review, reporting or discussion.

No relationship, sponsorship or endorsement should be inferred unless expressly stated.

Ankit2World, A2W and original A2W branding may not be used in a manner that falsely suggests an association with A2W.

14. Embedded content

Articles may contain embedded:

• videos;
• social-media posts;
• photographs;
• audio;
• maps;
• or other material.

Where content is embedded using functionality provided by a third-party platform, the underlying material remains subject to that platform’s terms and the rights of the relevant owner.

A2W does not claim ownership merely by embedding or linking to third-party content.

Third-party platforms may independently collect data when embedded content loads.

Users should consult the relevant platform’s privacy information where appropriate.

15. External links

A2W may link to third-party websites for reference, attribution, further reading, products, sources or other purposes.

A link does not necessarily constitute:

• endorsement;
• sponsorship;
• approval;
• affiliation; or
• acceptance of responsibility for the linked website.

A2W does not control external websites and accepts no responsibility for their availability, security, content or practices to the extent permitted by law.

16. A2W The Grid

A2W The Grid is intended to provide a fan community for:

• Formula 1 discussion;
• motorsport discussion;
• predictions;
• rankings;
• fan opinions;
• debates;
• reactions;
• badges;
• community participation; and
• other fan-related activities.

The Grid is a discussion forum and fan zone.

It is not an official Formula 1 service.

Opinions expressed by users belong to those users.

A2W does not automatically endorse, verify or adopt a statement merely because it appears on The Grid.

17. Registration

Where registration is available, you agree to:

• provide reasonably accurate account information;
• keep your login credentials secure;
• not impersonate another person;
• not create accounts for deceptive or abusive purposes;
• notify A2W if you reasonably believe your account has been compromised; and
• comply with these Terms.

The Grid is not intended for registration by children under 13.

Users aged under 18 should use community features responsibly and in accordance with any additional safeguards or requirements implemented by A2W.

18. User-generated content

“User Content” includes any:

• comment;
• forum post;
• reply;
• prediction;
• image;
• link;
• profile information;
• username;
• reaction;
• message;
• or other material submitted by a user.

You remain responsible for User Content you submit.

You should only upload material that you have the right to submit.

By submitting User Content, you grant A2W a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, format and technically process that content to the extent reasonably necessary to:

• operate the Website;
• display the content;
• administer The Grid;
• moderate discussions;
• create backups;
• promote the relevant discussion or community feature; and
• maintain normal Website functionality.

This licence does not transfer ownership of your User Content to A2W.

19. User responsibility

By submitting User Content, you confirm that, to the best of your knowledge:

• you are entitled to submit it;
• it does not knowingly infringe another person’s intellectual-property rights;
• it does not unlawfully disclose private information;
• it does not contain unlawful threats;
• it is not fraudulent;
• it does not unlawfully defame another person; and
• its publication through A2W does not knowingly violate applicable law.

20. Prohibited content and conduct

You must not use A2W or The Grid to create, upload, encourage, facilitate or distribute content that is unlawful or that A2W reasonably considers seriously harmful to the community.

This includes, where applicable:

• child sexual exploitation or abuse material;
• sexual content involving minors;
• terrorist content;
• credible threats of violence;
• encouragement or assistance of serious self-harm;
• illegal hate content;
• unlawful harassment or stalking;
• fraud or scams;
• illegal sale of regulated goods;
• unlawful intimate imagery;
• cyberflashing;
• doxxing or unlawful disclosure of personal information;
• malicious impersonation;
• malware;
• phishing;
• deliberate copyright infringement;
• unlawful defamatory material;
• spam;
• automated abuse;
• manipulation of community rankings;
• coordinated harassment;
• threats against drivers, teams, users or other persons;
• content intended primarily to intimidate another user; or
• attempts to evade an A2W suspension or safety control.

Strong disagreement about Formula 1, movies, comics, manga or other subjects is permitted.

Abuse is not.

21. Moderation

A2W may moderate The Grid and other community areas.

Depending upon the circumstances, A2W may:

• leave content unchanged;
• add a moderation note;
• restrict visibility;
• remove content;
• lock a discussion;
• issue a warning;
• suspend an account;
• terminate an account;
• restrict features;
• preserve evidence;
• report matters to an appropriate authority where required or appropriate; or
• take other proportionate action.

A2W may act where it reasonably believes content:

• violates these Terms;
• creates a legal risk;
• threatens another person;
• infringes rights;
• constitutes spam or manipulation;
• creates a material safety concern; or
• damages the proper operation of the community.

A2W is not required to agree with a user before exercising its moderation rights.

Moderation decisions do not mean A2W endorses content that has not been removed.

22. Online safety

Where A2W or The Grid falls within applicable provisions of the UK Online Safety Act 2023 or associated regulations, A2W may implement systems and processes intended to meet applicable duties.

These may include:

• illegal-content risk assessments;
• children’s access assessments;
• children’s risk assessments where applicable;
• moderation procedures;
• reporting mechanisms;
• complaints processes;
• record keeping;
• user controls;
• account restrictions;
• measures concerning content harmful to children;
• prompt action concerning identified illegal content; and
• cooperation or reporting to competent authorities where legally required.

A2W may change functionality or community rules where reasonably necessary to comply with online-safety legislation.

23. Reporting content

Users should report suspected:

• illegal content;
• serious abuse;
• threats;
• child-safety concerns;
• copyright infringement;
• impersonation;
• privacy violations; or
• other serious breaches

through any reporting function made available on the Website or by contacting:

Reports should contain enough information to identify the content concerned.

A2W may request additional information where necessary to investigate.

24. Child-safety material

A2W has zero tolerance for child sexual exploitation or abuse material.

Where A2W identifies material that is subject to a mandatory reporting obligation under applicable UK law, A2W may preserve relevant evidence, restrict access to the material and report it to the appropriate authority in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

Users must not submit, redistribute or attempt to obtain prohibited child sexual exploitation or abuse material through A2W.

25. Community complaints

A user who believes moderation has been applied incorrectly may contact:

A complaint should identify:

• the relevant account;
• the content or moderation decision;
• the reason for the complaint; and
• any relevant supporting information.

A2W may uphold, vary or reverse a moderation decision after review.

Abusive or repetitive complaints intended to harass A2W or another user may themselves result in restrictions.

26. Availability of the Website

A2W aims to keep the Website available but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

The Website or particular features may be:

• modified;
• updated;
• suspended;
• removed;
• restricted; or
• discontinued

without permanent availability being guaranteed.

Maintenance, hosting problems, cyber incidents, third-party service failure and circumstances outside A2W’s reasonable control may affect availability.

27. Accuracy

A2W takes reasonable care with editorial content but does not guarantee that every piece of information will always be:

• complete;
• current;
• error-free; or
• suitable for a particular purpose.

Formula 1 schedules, regulations, results, streaming availability, entertainment release dates and other information can change.

A2W may correct or update content without notice.

28. No reliance

Use of A2W is at your own discretion.

Editorial content is intended for information, commentary and entertainment.

You are responsible for decisions you make based upon information obtained through A2W.

29. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including any liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.

Subject to that restriction and to the fullest extent permitted by law, A2W will not be liable for losses arising solely from:

• reliance upon editorial opinion;
• interruption of Website availability;
• third-party websites;
• third-party services;
• user-generated content;
• loss of data outside A2W’s reasonable control;
• unauthorised account activity caused by a user’s failure to protect credentials; or
• indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable.

Nothing in these Terms affects statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

30. User liability

You are responsible for your own unlawful conduct on the Website.

Where permitted by applicable law, you may be responsible for losses reasonably suffered by A2W as a direct result of your deliberate or unlawful breach of these Terms.

Nothing in this provision requires a consumer to compensate A2W beyond what is permitted by applicable law.

31. Account suspension and termination

A2W may suspend, restrict or terminate access to an account where reasonably necessary because of:

• breach of these Terms;
• safety concerns;
• unlawful activity;
• repeated infringement;
• spam;
• manipulation;
• harassment;
• security risks; or
• legal or regulatory requirements.

Where appropriate and reasonably practicable, A2W may provide a reason for significant moderation action.

Serious or urgent safety matters may require immediate action.

32. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with the A2W Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Use of A2W is also subject to relevant cookie and privacy controls made available through the Website.

33. Changes to these Terms

A2W may update these Terms from time to time to reflect:

• legal developments;
• regulatory requirements;
• new Website functionality;
• community features;
• security requirements;
• operational changes; or
• editorial developments.

The latest version will be published on the Website together with its revision date.

Continued use of the Website after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.

34. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found by a court or competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be treated as modified or removed only to the minimum extent necessary.

The remaining provisions will continue in effect.

35. No waiver

Failure by A2W to enforce a provision immediately does not amount to a permanent waiver of that provision or any other legal right.

36. Third-party rights

Unless expressly stated otherwise, these Terms are not intended to give a third party a contractual right to enforce them.

This does not affect any independent intellectual-property or other legal rights held by a third party.

37. Governing law

These Terms and any non-contractual dispute or claim relating to them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in this clause removes a consumer’s mandatory right to bring proceedings in another court where applicable law gives them that right.
