Audi’s Singapore F1 Livery Is Bright, Brave and Impossible to Ignore. Pictures Inside
Audi has revealed its special livery for the Singapore Grand Prix, and I was not prepared for this at all. I expected the usual dark, serious Audi look. Instead, the Audi R26 has arrived in a much lighter silver finish with a blue shimmer, colourful details and a Singapore-inspired Peranakan pattern. It looks elegant, modern and completely different under the lights.
Honestly, Audi did not simply change the colour. It changed the whole mood for me 🙂
The car looks as though it has finally opened the curtains and discovered sunshine. I genuinely love it. Sorry, Mercedes, but Audi may have just won the beautiful livery battle.

That is not easy for me to say. Mercedes usually creates the most beautiful cars on the grid, and I still love the silver, black and PETRONAS combination. But Audi’s Singapore livery feels fresh without becoming messy. It is bright without looking desperate for attention, and the blue reflections should look brilliant beneath the floodlights.
The Peranakan-inspired pattern gives the car something extra too. It connects the design to Singapore rather than making it look like a random special edition created because somebody in marketing had a colourful afternoon.
Very Formula 1. Very pretty.
This is also Audi’s first Formula 1 night race, so the livery has been designed to change as the light moves across the car. That makes me even more interested to see it on track. Some liveries look good in a studio and then disappear once the cars start moving.
This one should do the opposite.

Audi has also launched a limited-edition adidas capsule collection based on the same Singapore design. The collection includes fanwear and the special cap worn by Nico Hülkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto during the race weekend. Shop here.
I would happily wear the cap, even though I have no business looking that cool while watching Formula 1 from my sofa. LOL
The team has also given fans a chance to reveal the livery online, collect a digital team card and enter a prize draw. One winner and a companion can attend the Las Vegas Grand Prix as VIP guests of Audi Revolut F1 Team. You too can reveal the livery and collect a digital team card.
I am not saying I deserve that trip, but I have already started emotionally packing.
You can read the official Audi release here and check the full competition details before entering.
I did not expect Audi to move away from its darker identity and produce something this beautiful. But that is exactly why I like it. It feels brave, different and properly connected to Singapore.
Audi has surprised me.
The car is beautiful, the design is unique and other F1 teams may need to look in the mirror for a moment. Ah, all the F1 Teams, please do not take this personally.
Waiting to see Audi turn Singapore’s night lights into its own fashion show.
