Don’t you sometimes feel like watching movies from Hollywood is a whole different experience? I am especially a fan of movies that keep me thrilling, basically on the edge of my seat. With many genres and movies available released every year to keep up the thrill quotient, we are spoilt for choice. This has also increased my binge sessions with online streaming services like ZEE5 where I now watch Hollywood movies online.

No. 5: The Covenant (2006)
In The Covenant, Four gifted boys stand against the fifth of their kind. This movie is filled with suspense and spine chilling moments which are balanced out by the bond of friendship and brotherhood. It’s quite an interesting flick which can keep one on the edge of the seat for a long time. I consider the movie more like Twilight with less romance and more suspense, action, and thrills. It’s a must watch if you love stylish magic and cool visual effects.
No. 4: Drive (2011)
Ryan Gosling, he who does not have a name, is a Hollywood stuntman who’s also famous in the underworld as a getaway driver. He finds himself in trouble while helping out a mysterious woman. For me, the old school music in the movie is just amazing, especially when it’s aligned with the action and driving sequences. For example, there is a scene in an elevator with no dialogues what so ever, but just with visuals and music, a magical moment is created on screen. Drive is also one of the few movies which received a standing ovation during the 2011 Cannes Film Festival, winning Nicolas Refn an award in the Best Director category.
No. 3: Now You See Me (2013)
Four extraordinary illusionists come together to form a team to pull off something more than magic which makes them suspicious in the eyes of F.B.I, but there’s more to it than meets the eye, the FBI agent who is trying to put them behind bars has something hidden up on his sleeve. Of all the actors in the movie, the Zombieland and Batman Vs. Superman star Jesse Eisenberg is one of my favorite actors. The kind of attitude and arrogance Jesse portrays in the movie is simply amazing, because he will keep you guessing about his next brilliant move of illusion.
No. 2: Insidious: Chapter 2
Sequel of Insidious, Insidious: Chapter 2, according to me is more interesting than the first one. Defeating the evil is the story of every movie, but not knowing whether the evil is really gone or not, is the new spark defined in this movie. This sequel is filled with many spooky and horrifying scenes, which are way better than the prequel. Well, all the credit goes to James Wan who is also famous for directing Conjuring, Fast and Furious 7 and recently released Aquaman, which is a box office hit. In short, this movie is for one who seeks constant goosebump moments.
No. 1: John Wick (My Favourite)
We all believe that Keanu Reeves never gets old, which is true by the way. Even movies can’t keep him retired. Reeves as John Wick unwantedly came out of his retirement to pursue the guy who killed his dog and stole the Mustang. On paper, the plot may sound simple but the movie is full of badassery. Today John Wick is a legend, and people just love the character. Hands down, it’s one of my most favorite movies of all time because of its storyline, action sequences, muscle cars and most importantly the legend himself, John Wick.
Well, these movies are no doubt filled with exciting and nerve-breaking elements. So, go ahead and have a fun time with these Hollywood movies.
