Dell Precision Workstations Which Made ‘Ant-Man and The Wasp’ Possible.

On 16th-July-2018. I was invited to the special screening of Ant-Man & The Wasp at Director’s Cut PVR by the team which did the CGI, Special Effects and Animation possible for the movie. I was pretty excited about the event as I got the chance to hear the experience from the horse’s mouth. DELL PRECISION

As mentioned in my earlier blog, I got a chance to witness the movie before its release in a different event on 12th-July-2018 which made my movie review blog possible. So, if you are looking for The Ant-Man and The Wasp movie review please click here. The two main reasons, I went to see the movie again are:

1. Dell – The DELL TEAM invited me. So can’t say no…
2. I liked Ant-Man and The Wasp, so there is no harm watching it twice.

Have a look – A2W aka aKi at the event:

Interestingly, I came to know many amazing things at the event and as the matter of fact, I never imagined this side of Dell. For me, Dell has always been my personal laptop or workstation and an advanced technology company. I never in my farthest dreams thought that Dell can be in the association with Marvel doing such a spectacular job. The other fact which took me with AWW was that I came to know the list of other movies where Dell Precision Workstations were used and I am sure 90% of movie buffs and lovers don’t know about it.

So here’s the list:

The Ghostbusters: The Dell Precision Rack 7000 workstation with the processing power of 1000 Dell workstations were used for the production of the movie.

Hugo: Dell Precision T55000 and T3500 tower workstation were used in different studios around the world.

Ex-Machina: Dell Precision Workstations were used in the movie for customized solutions.

Gravity: Seven Oscars winner movie used Dell Precision Workstation Towers to work on the animation of the movie.

Angry Birds: Well, I never imagined that our all-time favorite game was turned in the movie with the help of Dell Precision Workstation for animation.

Surprised Huh? I was in the state of shock too. But now I can only imagine how powerful Dell’s technology can be… You can too follow Dell on twitter @DellEMCIndia and congratulate them for such a wonderful work by using hashtag #Antman4Precision

P.S. Dear Dell, I really need a laptop… 😀 Ha! Ha!
