Today when I look back at my life, I see the reflection of a happy and free version of me. I say that because it was fun back then. I am afraid that today’s kids are unable to live the life we led with our parents. Life was quite different back then and I always ‘wish’ to go back in time and live it once again, even if it’s for a day!
Being Social is important, not necessary. But for most of the teens today being online is a part of their life. I will never say wrong about the present life of the kids, they have their own way. All I can bet on is that- our life was more fun :p
We never had any gadgets and internet was a myth to us. Sometimes I just feel old but believe me I am not 🙂 . I have seen the world change. Thus half of my life was spent before the internet and half after the internet. The first T.V was quite bulky, there were typewriters instead of computers in the office and YES, landlines 🙂 I miss them but not to the extent that I want to live them.
We people from the 80s have come a long way now and we can’t go back because the world runs on the Internet and we don’t want to be left behind. But still, the life me and I am sure many around my age spent with their family seems impossible for today’s generation. Recently, I found out a couple of images on Instagram and I was mesmerized. Though the images come from a very different culture from mine, still the bond and affection which is reflected in the same is what I am relating to.
Further, I want to dedicate this blog to all my friends, family members and everyone who were born in the late 80s. Let’s take this beautiful trip down the memory lane together and when you are done reading my blog, go back and hug your parents, call your cousins/friends because those times have gone and we are living in a fast life, so take a pause, we can choose the way we want to lead our life. Let’s accept technology the way it is and keep growing with it… but never forget the roots.
Let’s have a look at the time – which is missed by the most of 80s kids today and I would urge you to look at these pictures carefully and then link it with your past remembering your parents, old home, brother/sister, cousins and friends.

Hope you all were taken back in time by this small effort of mine. So, don’t hesitate in sharing this with your loved ones who can relate to the same!
